100% of the Board of Directors identify as African American women who are determined to preserve and share the story of Blue Triangle MCA by amplifying the voices of those young "Negro" women who historically have been silenced. The leadership is committed to perpetuating the legacy of the ten women of color who purchased the facility for $1,000 in 1958. We will continue to tout the story of Blue Triangle’s heritage and culture as reflected in the lives of these ten women and others who have not been fully acknowledged for the integral role played in the fabric of American history.
